Prosecutor Daniel A. Bellemare Meets Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar
Beirut, 3 December 2009: Prosecutor Daniel A. Bellemare met today with Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar at the Ministry of Justice. The Prosecutor was accompanied by his Deputy, Joyce Tabet, and his delegation.
Prosecutor Bellemare congratulated Minister Najjar on his re-appointment as Minister of Justice and stated his eagerness to continue the excellent working relations between the Ministry and his office.
Prosecutor Bellemare thanked Minister Najjar for his important role in concluding and implementing the Memorandum of Understanding on the modalities of cooperation between the Lebanese Government and the Office of the Prosecutor that was signed in June 2009 and expressed satisfaction at the smooth implementation of the Memorandum.
