Prosecutor Daniel A. Bellemare Meets Interior Minister Ziad Baroud
Beirut, 4 December 2009: Prosecutor Daniel A. Bellemare, accompanied by his Deputy, Joyce Tabet, and his delegation, met today with Interior Minister Ziad Baroud at the Ministry of Interior.
Prosecutor Bellemare congratulated Minister Baroud on his re-appointment as Minister of Interior and indicated that he was looking forward to continuing the excellent working relations between the Ministry’s departments concerned and his office.
Prosecutor Bellemare expressed his gratitude for the valuable cooperation extended by the Lebanese security institutions concerned to his office and to his team in Beirut. The assistance of the Internal Security Force (ISF) has been and continues to be essential to the facilitation of the activities of the the Prosecutor’s Office.
