Outreach

Based in Lebanon, the STL Outreach Office will be responsible for advancing the STL’s visibility and reputation within Lebanon. The office will house and distribute communications materials such as newsletters, brochures, event announcements, weblogs and podcasts.

The Outreach Office will also be responsible for coordinating with local NGOs, academic institutions and media outlets to proactively ensure that clear, accurate and timely information about the work of the STL is freely available to any interested organizations or individuals. The objectives of the Outreach Office are:

to raise awareness of, and stimulate interest in the work of the STL
to act as the intermediary between the STL Office in The Netherlands and the general public in Lebanon
to provide users with information at different levels including general introductory guides, copies of legal documents and audio/video records
to spread understanding of both the extent and limits of the STL’s mandate
to enhance the reputation of the PAOS as an unbiased, transparent and accurate source of information on the STL
